Our product finishes

Bird Stevens & Co Ltd , parent company of Castlefield is accredited to ISO9001:2000 and uses its extensive experience in automotive and general engineering industries to ensure that high quality standards are maintained in all of its work.

A key feature of the Castlefield products manuafctured by Bird Stevens is in the finishes offered to maintain maximum protection whilst making the products attractive.

3 optional finishes are available as standard.

BZP
Bright Zinc Plating to BS EN 12329:2000 with a laquer finish gives a good level of protection, suitable for use in normal operation. This has an attractive high gloss finish.

EZP
Specialised Electro Zinc plating, developed to agricultural and automotive specifications for use where superior protection is required.

HDG
Hot Dip Galvanising to BS EN 1461:1999, gives the best level of protection suitable for the harshest weather conditions or where products are subject to high humidity.
